To run deep offshore, you need range. The combination of this new tank with the stingy fuel burn of the Yanmars gives this ride a range over 850 Nautical Miles. Fueling is regularly done via fuel truck. The direct fill allows rapid fueling as the fuel level is visible through the standpipe. while the WEMA sender is pretty accurate, the ability to "dip" the tank for visually confirming the fuel level reassuring, especially when you are running far offshore.
